MEET BRAD

IMG_5162.jpg

Originally from the small town of Kamiah, Brad enlisted in the U.S. Army at just 17 years old. After completing his military service, he began a distinguished law enforcement career that would span nearly three decades, with his final assignment being to oversee the investigation of the Idaho College Murders and playing a small part in giving the families closure by putting the perpetrator behind bars.

Brad first served with the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office and later joined the Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy. From there, he transitioned to the Idaho State Police, where he dedicated more than 26 years and rose through the ranks.

After moving to Moscow, Idaho, Brad was promoted to sergeant, then lieutenant. Following his time in Moscow, he moved to Meridian to the Idaho State Police Headquarters where he was promoted to Captain, and finally Major. During Brad’s time with the Idaho State Police, Brad served as a patrol trooper, patrol sergeant, patrol lieutenant, alcohol beverage control bureau chief, and finally as the northern area commander as Major.

Brad was responsible for ensuring state resources were used efficiently and taxpayer dollars were spent appropriately. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command, where he further developed his leadership and administrative expertise.

In 2021, Brad decided to expand upon his record of public service by running for Caldwell City Council, where he was elected and has served there since. He is currently the Caldwell City Council President, where he works with the other council members and the city’s staff to maintain public safety, community amenities, and fiscal responsibility.

With over 29 years in law enforcement, Brad is running for Caldwell Mayor because public service isn’t just what he does—it’s who he is. While others may chase opportunity, Brad has consistently chosen duty. His experience, integrity, and lifelong commitment to protecting others make him the kind of leader our communities can count on.

Public safety is the most critical issue facing Caldwell's unpressed growth, and there is no on more qualified than Brad to address those complex issues.
